This quilt was chosen for the show Fiber TwentyTen, in St. Charles,MO. The show runs from April 2 - May 14, 2010 with the reception on Friday April 16.
As a musician and fiber artist, I see melody in color, rhythm in shape, and harmony in the stitched lines that join them. I hand dye my fabric to create my own palette of colors. These colorful, textured fabrics are cut by hand, without a ruler, and sewn by machine to create abstract art quilts based on simple shapes and unexpected colors. I really like this one. The white is very bold but pleasing in this piece.
